Regarding his new appointment, İlker Sözdinler said, “I worked for the globalization of every organization I had founded, taking advantage of my long experience in the financial technologies industry. United Payment, of which I am the Founder and CEO, is a company that specialized in many fields including international money transfer, bank cards with down payment features, digital wallets, online/offline collection, smart safe boxes, kiosks, and offering loyalty as a service infrastructure. Furthermore, we are ready to guide other FinTech companies, using the experience of our team which cooperates with international companies in Türkiye and with important actors in the money transfer around the world. Türkiye holds a very special position in the financial technology, with its educated workforce and knowledge. As the FinTech Committee of the Digital Technologies Business Council, established just this year under a strong organization like the Foreign Economic Relations Board, we support the valuable technology companies to open up to the world. We are greatly aware of how important our duty is and we are very excited about it. In the short term, we aim to attend important fairs with a Turkish FinTech pavilion and our medium-term goal is to ensure that 1 of every 4 actors in the industry operates internationally as of the end of 2025. In the long-term, we aim to actively help FinTech companies to ensure that at least 5 FinTech companies are listed in the Fortune 500, with their increased export revenue by 2030. We will continue to contribute to Turkey's achievements in financial technologies in the upcoming period.
